Tried Tenoverten’s Sole Mate Foot Care Set, Here’s My Review

So I have never really been a skincare/beauty product guy. Barely used lotion most of my life. However, I have been lifting, running, busting my ass at work, stretching, eating better, etc. over the last few months and when you start doing all of those things you kind of want to level up everywhere. So I have been upgrading the wardrobe and the skincare routine, I am getting older after all. And since I have been running so much, I figured I should look into taking care of my feet.

So I picked up Sole Mate by Tenoverten, mainly because I saw someone call it the best foot care kit and figured I’d try something more intentional than just slapping on some lotion.

Here’s what it is:

• A balm that’s supposed to soften and repair rough skin.

• A buffing bar to smooth out dead skin and calluses.

I’ve been using it for a couple weeks, every few days, after a shower.

What I like:

• The foot care skin results are legit. The balm actually sinks in, doesn’t feel oily, and I noticed a difference in a couple uses.

• The bar works well on heels and tougher spots and honestly it feels nice on the feet too. Just smooth and pleasant, not tingly 'feel good'

• It’s simple. No 12-step spa routine. Just a quick scrub and some balm.

What I don’t love:

• It’s definitely more expensive than something you’d find in a drugstore.

• Probably not for someone who wants instant transformation. But if you stick with it, it works.

Honestly, if you’re like me, never really done a “foot care set” before, and you just want something easy that doesn’t feel ridiculous to use, this is a solid option.
